F.U.E.L. (Friends United in Everlasting Love)
Are you a teen or know a teen who wants to be “ignited” with the fire of friendship, faith and fun?
Then be sure to find out more about the Youth Group F.U.E.L.! Youth in grades 7 – 12 meet every Wednesday night from 7 – 9 p.m. downstairs in the Youth Room. We learn, we share, we pray, we sing and we have fun…all in the name of Jesus Christ!
In addition to our weekly meetings, we have special outings and retreats that nobody wants to miss.

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Teens: Don’t Feel ALONE!
Are you a teen who would like to have deeper connections in what can be a lonely world? Then mark your calendar for FUEL’s next “Diving Deeper” class. It begins on Tuesday April 2 from 7 – 8 p.m. in LUMC’s Gathering Area.
All youth in Grades 7 – 12 are invited to join adult volunteers Shane and Lisa for a weekly study of the book ALONE: FINDING CONNECTION IN A LONELY WORLD by youth pastor Andy Braner.
Participants will learn how to cope with insecurity, loneliness, core fears and addictions. Learn how “The Game Changer” can help you fulfill your purpose.
FUEL ACTIVE ALL YEAR LONG
FUEL experienced an amazing week-end April 26-28! The youth held a retreat all night at the church, and fasted for 30 Hours to draw attention to and raise funds to fight world hunger.
FUEL led both worship services Sunday morning. Members gave testimonies about their famine experience, Compassion Sunday, as well as their personal walk with Christ.
The group will continue to meet and have activities throughout the spring and summer. A mission trip to Logan, West Virginia is planned for July 16 – 21. Fund-raisers such as T-shirt sales, “Firehouse Sub” nights, and car washes will held to help with expenses.
