Join the United Methodist Men and gather for Coffee & Donuts, Fellowship and Learning with the UMM of Deerfield UMC on the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. The meeting place is Deerfield UMC. The men are using Gordon Dalbey's book, Healing the Masculine Soul. Questions? They gather once a month for fellowship and/or outreach. Some of the activities J.O.Y has gathered for include:lunch bunches, lunch & a movie, game night, picnics & concerts, train rides, brunch & theater, and Christmas Tea. M.O.P.S. {Mothers of Preschoolers} meets at LUMC on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 9:30 - 11:30 am from September through May. M.O.P.S. is a time for moms to grow as women and learn to be better mothers, wives and Christian women. Women with children (ages birth through kindergarten) are invited to join us. Also, while the mothers meet, the MOPPETS (all the children) will be cared for in a loving environment. Children will enjoy stories, games, crafts, singing and other activities. To connect contact Sarah Davis. MOMSnext MOMSnext - MOMSnext will be meeting the third Thursday of each month from 6-8pm on the lower level of LUMC. MOMSnext is a group that offers support and encouragement for all mothers of school age children, grades 1st through 6th. TEAM 456 The mission of Team 456 (youth group for grades 4th, 5th and 6th) is to help bring our youth to Christ and prepare them for the challenges that lay ahead. We'll do this through monthly gatherings which will include bible lessons and memory verse challenges, listening to Christian music, trips, mission projects, games, fellowship and of course awesome food!
