Disciple 2, 3, and 4 take an in-depth look at select books in the Bible, furthering your growth with God.

Fall classes for Disciple 1   run   September through May from 6:30-8:30pm,  on alternating years.

Childcare is provided each week, along with dinner.

Disciple Frequently Asked Questions!

  1. How long is the class?  We meet for 2 hours every Monday from September through May. You will be shocked at how fast the year goes and how God arranges your schedule to make it work.  Too busy?  We’ve had babies born, weddings planned, new jobs, new grandbabies, corporate travel and so much more happen during our classes – you can do it!!!
  2. Do you have to be Methodist  or a member of the church to take the class?  Absolutely not!  This is a non-denominational study and it is open to anyone, so invite your neighbors, your co-workers, your family to come….plus, it’s more fun with a friend!
  3. I have children, how in the world does this work?  Simple, bring them with you!!!  They get dinner and fun playtime each week.  Typically their program runs: 6:30 – Dinner; 7-8 – Planned play, craft, game time; 8-8:30 is quiet time.  Many come in their jammies! Older kids?  No worries! We have an area set aside for them to study and play age appropriate games next to our toddler room.
  4. 6:30pm start? … I work – when would I have time to eat?  We have that covered too!   Dinner is provided  every week during class  by sign-up among the class members.
  5. What does it cost?  A workbook is provided for you.  It is free, however, we do include a “voluntary reimbursement” envelope.
  6. I don’t know ANYTHING about the Bible and I’ll feel so intimidated.  NO YOU WON’T!!! We promise you!  You will be  in a supportive,  non-threatening atmosphere from day one!
  7. Is it touchy feely?  No, this Bible study is intended to give you an in-depth study of the historical, economic, political, social and geographical background of the Bible and what it means to us today.
