Spark! (K-6th Grade)
Children’s Sunday School at 9:30 am
This five week, VBS style rotation curriculum will allow us to focus on seven messages throughout the year instead of 42! Not to mention the VBS fun can now continue all year long! We have designed the program to be jam packed with fun and have filled it with opportunities where serving is super easy!
Be a part of this energized program by either:
Serving as a station leader for a five week rotation – For five weeks, you can pick the area that you are interested in (say Arts/Crafts) and teach the children all about Jesus through the theme for that session using Arts/Crafts as your medium! No more having to break the hour into 10 minute activity chunks. We will provide the tools you need prior to serving! Then, when your five weeks are done, you can either sign up for the next session or take the next session off.
Being a grade level shepherd – Not sure if you are up to teaching, but love hanging out with the kids? Then a shephard you are! We will need an adult shephard for each grade level to simply hang out with the kids for the five week session, get to know them, build relationships, help out the station leader and share the love of Jesus. Pick the session you would like to serve, your grade level and you are all set for fun. But get ready, because hanging with the kids means you just might be asked to spin a hula hoop or end up hanging Mr. Stick Figure in Bible Hangman!
SPARK Splash – Summer Sunday School Volunteers Needed
SPARK Splash kicks off on June 24th at both the 9:30 and 11:00 worship services.
SPARK Splash is a one room school house approach to Summer Sunday School and will combine all students grades K-6th in a morning filled with crafts, games, snacks, stories, music and more!
We will be covering five key WATER stories from the bible this summer and each of our sessions is two weeks long. Sign up today to serve on a session team or as a SPARKLER (2-4 year old) leader. Pick your session on the connection card or click here to register on line.
Session 1: June 24 and July 1 – Noah’s Ark
Session 2: July 8 and 15 – Jonah and the Big Fish
Session 3: July 22 and 29 – Walking on Water
Session 4: August 5 and 12 – Woman at the Well
Session 5: August 19 – Lydia
We provide the students, the curriculum kits and FUN…..you provide the love of Jesus through serving and our summer is a splashing success!
