Spark! (K-6th Grade)

Children’s Sunday School at 9:30 am

This five week, VBS style rotation curriculum will allow us to focus on seven messages throughout the year instead of 42! Not to mention the VBS fun can now continue all year long! We have designed the program to be jam packed with fun and have filled it with opportunities where serving is super easy!

Be a part of this energized program by either:

Serving as a station leader for a five week rotation – For five weeks, you can pick the area that you are interested in (say Arts/Crafts) and teach the children all about Jesus through the theme for that session using Arts/Crafts as your medium! No more having to break the hour into 10 minute activity chunks. We will provide the tools you need prior to serving! Then, when your five weeks are done, you can either sign up for the next session or take the next session off.

Being a grade level shepherd – Not sure if you are up to teaching, but love hanging out with the kids? Then a shephard you are! We will need an adult shephard for each grade level to simply hang out with the kids for the five week session, get to know them, build relationships, help out the station leader and share the love of Jesus. Pick the session you would like to serve, your grade level and you are all set for fun. But get ready, because hanging with the kids means you just might be asked to spin a hula hoop or end up hanging Mr. Stick Figure in Bible Hangman!

SPARK!  Fall Sunday School

The school year is set to begin here at LUMC on Sunday, August 26.  We have opened registration for fall Sunday School teachers for our SPARK programming at both the 9am and 10:30am worship services.
