Prayer Ministry
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Through out the scriptures we see that God invites us to draw near to him in prayer and to trust in his promises that he will respond in his perfect timing and in his perfect way.
At Loveland UMC, prayer is a part of our daily spiritual lives and we are continuing to develop new ministries inviting persons to pray.
Opportunities to connect in prayer ministry at Loveland UMC abound!
We have a prayer chain that operates over the phone lines. Persons register to serve on the phone prayer chain and respond in prayer when prayer requests are called into the church.
We have an email prayer chain. Persons connected in ministry this way, receive prayer requests via email.
We have 2 prayer ministry teams that serve 15 minutes before and after each of our worship services ( 9:00; 10:30) on Sunday morning praying for not only the worship leadership that morning and for those gathering, but also praying for individuals who come to the prayer corner, set up in the sanctuary, before or after worship.
We have a prayer corner in our sanctuary, that is open for persons to come and pray any time the building is open.
We have an office staff that prays each Tuesday afternoon together, lifting up the requests received on Sunday morning as well as those requests that come in throughout the prior week. We also lift up our ministry teams, and our ministry leadership.
Our Senior’s Ministry team, The Dittos, offer Drive Thru Prayer, the first Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 pm, inviting the community to “drive thru” for a time of prayer.
