Men’s Ministry
LUMC Men’s Ministry meet on the first Saturday of each month from 8 – 9:30 am
· Past year, averaged over 14 disciples with over 28 different men attending – grew by more than 75% over previous year
· Men in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s have participated
· Discussed Men of God like: David… around subjects like: Fatherhood, Marriage, Work, Balance, …with the goal of becoming better men through the following of Christ
· Delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, casseroles, fresh baked breads, juice, & coffee!
· Fellowship from 8-8:20 followed by opening prayer, new “business,” bible/topic overview, small group breakout & discussion, group summary, joys & concerns and prayer
· Participation is encouraged but not required

Nast Trinity UMC Support
Each month, three to ten men (and women) serve the underserved by leaving LUMC on Sunday morning by 4:15 a.m., driving to Nast Trinity UMC (Over the Rhine) and begin preparing breakfast by 5:00 and serving from 5:30 till around 7:15 a.m. and returning to LUMC by 8:00!
Includes: scrambling 720 eggs, baking hundreds of sausage patties, gravy & grits by the gallons, dozens of waffles, donuts, coffee, fruit, and anything else donated to the church
Fantastic reminder as to how blessed we are and the importance of serving others in a Christ-like manner

Habitat For Humanity
LUMC Men’s Ministry has participated in the Lebanon and Ameilia builds by helping with the construction of a home and by making/serving lunch on multiple occasions. This is another serving opportunity — side by side with an appreciative family.
